Sonata Software has a workspace on the first floor of Jayalakhmi Nilaya. We are located at 1st Cross, Vinayaka Nagar, just off Kudlu Main Road in Madiwala. Bangalore is known for its tech, but our little corner is a bit more grounded. The building looks like a typical apartment block from the outside. You have to climb a flight of stairs to get to us. We’ve been in this Madiwala location for a few years now. It’s a busy area, especially with all the traffic heading towards the main roads. Inside the office, things are pretty functional. We have our servers in one corner and desks spread out where there's room. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always running. We don't do big marketing campaigns. We mostly just work on software projects for the clients who already know us. Sometimes we have interns from the nearby colleges helping out with coding. The 1st Cross is a bit quieter than the main road, which is a relief. We usually get our lunch from the small shops nearby because they are cheap and good. It’s a simple place to work. We don't have corporate retreats or fancy mission statements on the walls. We just write code and fix bugs until the job is done. If you're coming by, look for the Nilaya building, it's easy to spot once you're on the right cross. We just keep at it.
