Solace Soft

Our office is over in JP Nagar, right on the Ring Road. If you know where the IDBI Bank is, we are basically right next door on the first floor. It's a busy spot with lots of noise from the traffic outside, but we've gotten used to it by now. We do software work mostly. It’s a lot of sitting at computers and trying to fix things that break or building new stuff from scratch. There are about six of us here most days. We started Solace Soft because we wanted to do our own thing instead of working for a giant company where nobody knows your name. The space is a bit cramped with all the wires and spare monitors lying around, but it feels like home. We don't have a receptionist, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets up to answer it. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and we end up ordering food from the place downstairs. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, just a bunch of people who are good at coding trying to make a living. We’ve been at this location for a few years now. The stairs to the first floor are a bit steep, so watch your step if you're coming to see us. We focus on getting the work done without much fuss. We don't wear suits or anything. Half the time the coffee machine is broken, so we go to the stall on the corner for a break.
