Software Engineet

Rajaji Nagar is a busy part of Bangalore, and our spot at 128A on 25th Cross is right in the middle of it. We call ourselves Software Engineet. It’s a bit of a typo in the name but we just stuck with it because that's how it was registered. The 2nd Block is actually quite nice, though parking is a nightmare if you come after ten in the morning. Our office is up a narrow flight of stairs. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for our equipment and a small area to sit down and talk. Bangalore has tech companies everywhere, but we are just a small local outfit. We do the work that comes our way without making a big fuss about it. The street outside is always loud with scooters and people walking to the market. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of clicking keys. We have a small window that looks out over the cross, which is good for people-watching when we need a break. We’ve been at this address for several years. People know us as the guys who do the computer work. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just do what needs to be done. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, but we try to keep regular hours. It’s a practical way to run a business in this city. The landlord is decent too and we stay out of trouble.
