Software Engineer

I'm doing software engineer work out of the cloth merchant shop in Sindagi. M. S. Warad, who is the son of B. S. Warad, runs the shop here in Bijapur, Karnataka. It's a bit of a strange mix, having a computer and code right in the middle of all the fabrics and clothes. I sit here at my desk most days while customers come in and out looking for materials. It’s a local business through and through. I don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. Just this spot in the shop. Sindagi is a small place, so news travels fast. Everyone knows the Warad family. I handle the software side of things from this specific address. I’ve got my screen set up and I just get on with it. Sometimes it’s a bit noisy when the shop is busy, but I’ve gotten used to it over time. Working in Karnataka, you see a lot of tech, but it’s usually in the big cities. Doing it from a cloth merchant’s place feels more real. I don't really have a fancy title or a mission statement. I just write the code that needs to be written. If you need me, I’m usually here behind the counter or in the back area where the accounts are kept. It’s a practical way to work and it keeps me connected to the community here. I've been at it for a while and don't plan on changing much.
