Software Design Engineer

We are located at 91/1 on Railway Parallel Road in Yeshwantpur. If you know Bangalore, you know this road can get pretty busy with the trains passing nearby. Our name is Software Design Engineer, which is basically what we do every day. It’s a small space, mostly filled with monitors and books about coding. We don't have a fancy lobby or any of that. Just a door and a couple of desks. We spend a lot of time looking at designs and trying to make them work in the real world. Sometimes it’s frustrating when things don’t compile right, but that’s the job. The noise from the railway becomes background noise after a while. You just get used to it. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us who really know our way around a computer. We like being in Yeshwantpur because it’s easy to get to, even if the traffic is a mess sometimes. Most of our work is done for clients who have been with us for a while. We don't do much advertising. We just focus on the engineering part of the software. It’s honest, technical work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we even pop in on Sundays if we’re behind. We just try to be useful and keep our heads down, doing the best we can with the tools we have in this office.
