It’s a busy neighborhood and the street outside our building is usually lined with scooters and delivery vans. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We have rows of desks and a lot of computers because most of our work involves processing the pass services that companies use. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a movie set; it’s just a regular office with fluorescent lights and stacks of paper here and there. We spend our days checking data and making sure everything is moving through the system correctly. The lunch break is when most of us head out to the small shops nearby to grab a bite. The traffic in Gurappan Palya can be a nightmare in the evenings, so everyone is usually looking at the clock around five to beat the worst of it. We’ve been in this building for a good while and we know the security guards and the other folks on the floor. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. You come in, you do the work, you have some coffee, and you head home. We don't have any fancy statues in the lobby or anything like that. It’s just a place where we get the job done as best we can every day.
