We’ve been based here at Janardhana Nilaya in Ambedkar Layout for a while now. It’s a quiet spot in Kavalbyra Sandra, just off the 4th Main road. R.T. Nagar is a busy area, but our corner stays mostly calm unless there’s heavy traffic nearby. There are about ten of us working in this office. Most mornings start with someone fixing the coffee machine or talking about the commute from different parts of Bangalore. It’s a typical workspace. We’ve got desks, some old filing cabinets that probably need replacing, and a lot of paperwork to get through every day. The building itself is easy to find if you know the layout, right near the post office. People often drop by asking for directions or looking for the 4th Main. We just get on with things here. It isn't anything fancy, just a functional space where we handle our daily tasks. Some days are slow, while others feel like we’re constantly on the phone or typing away at the computers. We usually head out for lunch at one of the small joints around the corner. It’s just how we operate. Living and working in this part of Karnataka means dealing with the heat and the rain, but we’re used to it by now. The office is our home base for the work we do around this side of the city. We try to keep things organized, even if the desk piles get a bit high sometimes.
