We’ve got this little spot at U - 18 Seshadripuram over on L J Road in Mahim West. It isn’t much to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend most of our daylight hours. The area gets pretty busy during the commute, so most of us try to get in early before the noise really picks up. There’s a tea stall just down the road that usually has a crowd, and that’s where you’ll find some of the guys during their break. We have a few desks set up and some computers that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, but that is just how things go around here. People stop by every now and then asking for directions because Mahim can be a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. The office itself has high ceilings and large windows that look out onto the street. We keep some files stacked in the corner and there is always a stack of newspapers on the small table near the door. It’s a quiet enough place once you get inside and shut the door behind you. We don’t have any fancy signs or anything like that. Just the name on the door and a lot of work to get through every day. It feels right being in this part of town among all the other small shops and local businesses. We usually shut down the lights around six. It’s a simple routine that has worked for a long time.
