Working over here near the Meenakashi Temple on Bannerghatta Road keeps us on our feet. We are based in the Brindavan area. It’s a place that sees a lot of traffic, especially on festival days. We spend our time talking about houses and showing people where they might want to live. It's not a fast process. Sometimes we sit in the office and go over floor plans for hours. The sun gets really hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows shut. There is always some construction noise in the distance because this area is growing so fast. Our desks are usually a mess of maps and brochures. We aren't a giant company, just a group of people trying to make things work in the housing sector. You might see us walking around the neighborhood checking on things. We know the local shops and the best places to grab a quick lunch. People come in with a lot of questions about the land and the buildings. We just tell them what we know. It’s a long day usually, ending with us locking up and heading home through the evening rush. It’s a busy life but we are used to the rhythm of it by now. The temple bells are a nice sound to hear in the mornings when we first open up the office doors. Most days we just keep at it until the work is finished.
