The office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints, site boots, and half-finished cups of tea sitting around. That’s just how it goes when you’re busy with contracting work. We don't spend much time worrying about how the front office looks to visitors. Instead, we’re usually focused on the next job or talking to the crew. The noise from the Chowk drifts in whenever the door opens, and you can hear the sirens from the police station every once in a while. Manjunath Nagar is a hard-working area, and we feel like we fit right in. We’ve got our tools and our desks, and that’s about all we need to stay operational. The building itself is older, but it’s sturdy, which is what matters to us. Sometimes the dust from Lambe Hanuman Road gets everywhere, so we’re always wiping down the tables. It’s a practical space for practical work. We’ve been at number 13 for a good while, and most of the locals know our sign by now.
