Skylark Travels

You can find us over at Shop No 3, right on the 14th Cross in Basavanagar. It’s part of that 12/A block on 24th Main, which is usually quite lively. We’ve been running Skylark Travels from this little spot for a bit now. It’s not a huge office, just a simple shop where we handle travel bookings and talk to people about where they want to go. Being in the 1st Phase of Basavanagar means we see a lot of the same faces walking by every day. It’s a nice neighborhood, feels pretty lived-in. We keep the place pretty straightforward—just some desks, some chairs, and a lot of papers. Usually, there’s a bit of chatter going on about flights or trains. It gets a bit dusty with the door open to the street, but that’s just how it is here. We aren't trying to be one of those huge agencies you see on TV. We’re just local people helping neighbors get their trips sorted out. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to actually hear the birds outside. If you’re around the 14th Cross, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing flashy, just a regular travel shop. We like the pace of things here in Basavanagar, even when the traffic on 24th Main gets a little loud in the afternoons. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the visitors, but it feels like home.
