Skycom Investments Llc is based out of 16, 5th Cross in Shankarapuram, Bangalore. Even though there’s Dubai in our name, this is where we do our daily work. Shankarapuram is one of those older, more established parts of the city with a lot of character. Our office is fairly simple. We don’t have those massive glass facades you see in the newer districts. It’s just a practical space where we look at numbers and talk about investment opportunities. It can be a bit dry sometimes, sitting around looking at spreadsheets, but it’s what we know how to do. The team is small, and we’ve all been working together for a bit. We aren't flashy people. We wear regular clothes and drink a lot of tea while we discuss what's happening in the markets. The street outside is usually busy with people going about their business, and we're just part of that local scene. Sometimes things go well, and other times we have to work a bit harder to figure things out. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with corporate talk. We just give it to you straight. Being in an older part of Bangalore like 560004 means we have a different pace than the IT hubs. It’s a bit more grounded here. We just come in, do our hours, and try to keep things moving in the right direction for the business without making a big fuss.
