Site Engineer

We are currently based out of a PG accommodation in Nagendra Block, Banashankari 1st Stage. It is on 22nd Main Road, House Number 4. Bangalore is a massive city, and being an engineer here means you are always on the move. Banashankari is a good spot because it’s connected to a lot of the newer areas where people are building. Since we are staying in a PG, we don't have a big fancy office to show people. We usually meet clients at the coffee shops or right at the construction site. Our work involves a lot of site visits across the city, checking on how the beams are being cast and if the electrical conduits are in the right place. The traffic in Bangalore is a nightmare, so a lot of the day is spent just getting from one place to another. We carry our laptops and site books with us everywhere. It is a busy life, but there is always something happening in the Karnataka capital. The pin code is 560050. We work with different contractors and try to keep things moving despite the delays that always seem to happen with city permits and labor shortages. It’s a lot of phone calls and standing in the sun. We are just regular people trying to make a living in the engineering field. It isn't always easy, but we enjoy seeing the city grow and being a part of it.
