Site Engineer

I’m staying with Prahalad Rao G. in Rajaji Nagar. It’s flat 204 on 33rd Cross in the 2nd Block. Bangalore is a big place but Rajaji Nagar has been my home base for a while now. I work as a site engineer, which means I’m rarely actually at the flat during the day. I’m usually out at various building sites around the city. The traffic in Bangalore is no joke, so I spend a lot of time on my scooter getting from one place to another. Being a site engineer involves a lot of checking and re-checking things. I don't have a fancy corporate office. This place in Rajaji Nagar is just where I sleep and keep my papers. It’s 560010 for the pincode. I’ve seen a lot of changes in this city since I started. New apartments and offices are popping up everywhere. It keeps me busy, that’s for sure. I like the 2nd Block because it’s got everything I need nearby. When I’m not on-site, I’m probably just catching up on some rest or looking over some blueprints at the table. It’s a regular life, nothing too exciting. I just try to do a good job on every site I visit. People seem to appreciate that. I've lived here long enough to know the shortcuts, but even then, the city is always growing. It’s a good place for a site engineer to be. There’s always another project starting up somewhere close by.
