Singh Novelty is located at 247 Krishna Residency, on 12th Cross in the Doddanna Industrial Estate area of Hebbal. It’s a bit of an interesting spot since we’re part of a residency building but inside an industrial estate. Hebbal is a huge area, but we are tucked into this specific cross where things are a bit more focused on the local small businesses. We carry a whole range of novelty items, toys, and small gifts. The shop is packed with shelves that go from the floor almost to the ceiling. Sometimes we have trouble finding where we put the smaller items like keychains or stickers. It gets quite busy on the weekends when people from the nearby apartments come out. During the week, it’s more about the people working in the industrial estate stopping by for a quick bit of shopping. We’ve had this shop here for quite some time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy moving stock around to worry about that right now. We handle everything ourselves, from opening the shutters in the morning to locking up late at night. The 12th Cross can get a bit congested with parked bikes and delivery vans, but that’s just how it is. We know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s a steady kind of life here in Hebbal, just keeping things moving one day at a time without too much fuss.
