Singer & Music Composer

I work out of a place called Jyoti, located at 807/91 on 5th Main, 4th Cross in Vijayanagar, Bangalore. It’s my home and my workspace where I do all my singing and music composing. Being in a residential part of Bangalore like Vijayanagar is good because it’s relatively quiet compared to the main roads. The setup is pretty simple. I have a room dedicated to my instruments and recording gear. It’s not a multi-million dollar studio, just a practical space where I can focus on melodies and lyrics. Most of my days are spent practicing or trying to get a particular sound right on the computer. Sometimes neighbors might hear a bit of noise, but I try to keep it down during odd hours. Bangalore is a great city for music, and being here helps me stay connected to other artists. I don't have a big team or a secretary. I handle my own bookings and manage my own schedule. There are cables running across the floor and sheet music piled up on the table. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how I work best. I’ve been composing here for quite a while now. It’s a slow process sometimes, sitting there waiting for an idea to come. I don't use any fancy marketing tricks or anything like that. I just write my music and hope it finds its way to people who might enjoy listening to it. That's really all there is to it.
