Sindoor Gift Shop

Our little shop is tucked away in the basement of Chinnappa Mansion at 41456 West Park Road, near 8th Cross in Malleshwaram. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler, which is nice in the summer. We have all kinds of things packed into the shelves. We sell cards, toys, small statues, and all the usual things you might need for a party or a small celebration. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when we get more than three customers at once. We have been in Malleshwaram for years. We know most of the people who walk past our door. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and dusting off the items on display. It is not a big fancy store with bright lights. It is more of a cozy spot where you can find something unique if you look hard enough. We do not have a website or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a bit about the news. We enjoy the community here. It is a bit cluttered and the lighting is not the best, but it works for us. We just keep track of what people are buying and try to get more of that. It is a simple way to run a business and we like it that way.
