Operating out of Bangalore means you are always in the middle of some kind of chaos. We are just one of the many offices scattered across this city, trying to keep up with how fast everything changes. Simpl is more than just a name on a glass door; it is where a bunch of us spend way too many hours every day. The office layout is pretty open, which means you hear everyone talking at once. It can be a bit much when you are trying to focus, but you get used to it. We have the usual stuff, like a water cooler that everyone gathers around and a fridge that always has something mysterious in the back. Bangalore traffic is usually the main topic of conversation in the morning. Someone is always late because of a jam near Silk Board or somewhere else. We do not have a big corporate manual on how to behave, so it stays pretty relaxed. People wear what they want and we talk like normal human beings. Most of the time, we are just heads down, working on the app and making sure things do not break. When things do break, there is a lot of running around and coffee drinking until it is fixed. It is a loud, messy, and busy way to live, but it is our reality. We like being part of the Bangalore tech scene without feeling like we have to put on a suit every day.
