Silver Magic Products

Down on 6Th K.P Agarhara, Magadi Road, you’ll find our place, Silver Magic Products. We are at number 34. It’s a typical street in this part of the city, always something going on outside. We work with silver here, making various products. It’s a craft that takes a lot of patience. The workshop isn’t anything fancy to look at, but it has everything we need to get the job done. I usually arrive early to open up the shutters and get the air moving. Magadi Road can get pretty congested, so I like to get a head start before the traffic really picks up. We’ve got our benches set up and tools organized, though they never stay organized for long once we start working. Making things from silver involves a lot of heat and polishing. By the time we finish a piece, it looks quite different from how it started. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy advertising; people mostly find us by word of mouth or just seeing the sign at 34, 6Th K.P Agarhara. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working together. We focus on what we’re making and try to do a solid job on every piece that leaves the shop. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone by name and we just keep our heads down and work. I wouldn't trade the smell of the workshop for a desk job any day of the week.
