We are tucked away in BTM Layout at 8 / 21 on the 8th Main. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know how busy the streets can get with all the students and shops around. Our spot is Silicongenie Consulting and we have been at this address for a good while. The building itself is just a regular one, nothing that really stands out from the street. Inside, it is mostly just desks, chairs, and a fair amount of computer wires running along the floor. There is a tea shop right around the corner where we end up spending time when we need a break from the screens. Bangalore weather is usually decent, so we keep the windows open to get a breeze, even if it gets a bit dusty from the 8th Main traffic. We deal with various consulting tasks. It is mostly just making calls and typing out emails throughout the day. Some days feel quite long, especially when we have a lot to catch up on. We are not a big group of people. By now, we all know how everyone likes their coffee. The 560029 area is pretty lively, so there is always some noise coming from outside. You get used to the honking and the general bustle after a week or two. Sometimes we forget to water the plant near the window, but it is still surviving. It is just a normal office life for us here.
