We have been at No.447 in the RBI Layout for a few years now. J P Nagar is a nice part of Bangalore, especially around the 7th Phase where we are. It’s mostly quiet, except for the usual street noise on the 2nd Main. Silicon Systems & Services is a name we picked, but really we are just a small group of guys who know our way around tech. Our place is on the 6th Cross. It’s a regular building, nothing that stands out from the outside. We handle a mix of systems and service work. Some days we are busy fixing hardware, other days we are just helping people figure out their software issues. It isn't a high-pressure corporate office. We have a kettle for coffee and a few desks that have seen better days. The 7th Phase has changed a lot since we moved in, with new shops opening up all the time. We like being part of the local scene here. People from the neighborhood sometimes drop by just to ask a quick question about their computers. We don't mind. It's better than being stuck in a huge tech park miles away from everyone. We just take it day by day and try to keep up with the repairs and setups that come through our door. It’s decent work and it keeps us busy most weeks. We don't need much more than that.
