This particular office is located in the Gangadariah Building over in Devasandra, which is part of the K.R. Pur area of Bangalore. We are on Venugopalaswamy Temple Street, and you can usually hear the bells from the temple nearby. It’s a busy little pocket of the city. While the name on the door is a big one, this local branch feels much more grounded. We have a few floors here and we mostly just focus on our specific tasks. The building itself is older, and it has that lived-in feel you get with places that have been around for years. We deal with a lot of technical stuff and paperwork every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which gives us a chance to chat in the hallway. We aren't sitting in some glass skyscraper; we’re right here in the neighborhood. Most of the staff takes the bus or rides their scooters to get here through the K.R. Pur traffic, which is never fun. We eat lunch at the small shops nearby or bring tiffins from home. It’s a pretty straightforward workplace. We don't really do the whole corporate motivational thing. We just come in, do our engineering or admin work, and go home to our families. It’s a steady job in a part of Bangalore that’s always changing. We like being near the temple.
