Our office is tucked away at No 12 on the first floor of 3rd Cross. It’s right in Lalbagh Siddapur, specifically the 1st Block of Jayanagar. If you know Bangalore-11, you know it's a pretty busy area with a lot going on. Being Siemens Bpo Services, we handle a lot of calls and data every single day. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when two people are passing each other. It’s mostly rows of desks and headsets inside. It gets quite warm in the summer, but we have some old fans that keep the air moving around. We’ve been here for a bit now. People usually find us by looking for the landmarks near the local park. The morning shift starts really early, so some of us see the sun come up over the neighboring buildings. It’s not a giant corporate tower, just a floor in a regular building. We know the neighbors in the other units pretty well. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick tea during the breaks. The desks are crowded together because there’s a lot of us working at once. It’s a job, you know? We show up, put on the headsets, and do what needs doing. It’s a lot of sitting and typing. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the backup to kick in.
