Shwetha Nagaraj

I am Shwetha Nagaraj and I run my business from my home called Prakruthi at No. 37. We are located on 7th Cross in SVG Nagar, which is in the Vijaynagar area of Bangalore. I am the daughter of S. Nagaraj and this house has been our base for quite some time. We are very close to the Confident School, so every morning and afternoon the street gets very busy with parents and school buses. It is a lively atmosphere to work in. My office is just a small room near the entrance of the house. I don't have a big corporate setup or a lot of staff helping me out. It is mostly just me managing everything from start to finish. I started doing this because I wanted to stay productive while being at home. The 7th Cross area is a nice neighborhood and most of the people around here know my family. I don't spend money on advertising or fancy brochures because I think doing a decent job is enough to keep people coming back. Sometimes I get distracted by the sounds of the neighborhood, like the vegetable vendors shouting their prices, but that is just part of living and working in Bangalore. It is a very straightforward way to run things and I like that I can be my own boss without too much stress. It is a quiet life mostly.
