Shubhabrata Biswas

Shubhabrata Biswas is currently operating out of Room No SNB-4 in the GBR & SN Boys Hostel. This is located at 40/6 on MSR College Road in Mathikere, Bangalore. It’s a student area, so it’s always loud and there is always someone moving around. Living and working from a hostel room isn’t always the easiest thing, but it’s what we have right now. The pin code is 560054, though some people just call it Bangalore 54. The room itself is small, packed with books, a desk, and some computer gear. It’s not a professional office park, but the internet works most of the time. MSR College Road is full of small eateries and tea stalls, which is where most of the meetings happen if anyone needs to talk. Being in Mathikere means being around a lot of energy. Shubhabrata stays busy with various projects, often working late into the night when the hostel finally gets quiet. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, keeping track of everything in such a tight space. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’re probably going to be standing in the hallway or sitting on a plastic chair. It’s humble and it’s real. Life in a Bangalore hostel is all about making the most of what you’ve got while planning for what comes next. It’s not much, but it’s enough.
