Shrusti Travels

Our office is tucked away in Shalimar Arcade over on 11th Main Road in Wilson Garden. It’s 189/44 if you are looking for the exact door. We have been running Shrusti Travels from here for quite some time. The Kaveriappa Layout is a busy little pocket of the city, and we are right in the middle of it. Most of our morning is spent answering the phone and checking where the drivers are. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We started this because we knew the area well and people kept asking for rides to the station or for family trips. It’s not a huge operation with fancy computers everywhere. We mostly use paper logs and a couple of old desks. When someone walks in, they usually just sit on the plastic chairs and wait while we check the schedule. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult because the road outside gets some deep puddles, but we still make it in. We don't spend much time on decorating the place since we are mostly busy with the vehicles and the routes. It’s a practical setup for a practical job. We know most of the shopkeepers nearby and often share a coffee while waiting for the next booking to come through. It is just a regular local business doing what it can for the people who live nearby. It is a living, and we enjoy the daily routine.
