About Shreeji Mango Farm – Agriculture & Farming in Bengaluru
We've been out here on Silver Jubilee Park Road for a good while now. The Mahal Ind. Estate area is usually busy, but our mango trees keep things feeling a bit more like the old days. Dealing with fruit depends a lot on the weather, so some years are better than others. It's just a regular farm operation at Mahakali Caves Rd 39. We spend most days checking on the soil and making sure the trees are getting what they need. There's always something to fix, whether it's a fence or a watering line. People around here know where we are. It isn't a fancy setup. We just grow mangoes and try to get them sorted before the season ends. It’s hard work and the sun is hot, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the traffic on Mahakali Caves Road gets backed up right outside the gate. You just get used to the noise while you're working the rows. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the sheds and the trees. It gets dusty during the dry months. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. More buildings went up nearby, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day. It’s a straightforward life. Not much else to say about it, really. We just keep going and hope for a good harvest when the time comes.
