You can find Shree Ganesh Cab over at 36 S R Nagar on Kempana Street in the doddamavahalli area. We run our small taxi business from this location. It’s basically just a small room where we keep the keys and the logbooks for the drivers. We have a few cars that we send out for local trips or airport runs for people in the neighborhood. Kempana Street is a bit narrow, so parking the vehicles can be a headache sometimes when they all come back. We started this because we knew the roads well. It’s a lot of sitting around and waiting for the phone to ring. We don't have any apps or fancy booking systems. People just call us up or walk over to the office to book a ride for the next day. Sometimes the drivers are late because of the traffic in S R Nagar, which can be really bad during the rainy season or at peak hours. We try to keep the cars running well, but they are older models that we use every day. We do the maintenance ourselves mostly. It’s just a local service for the people living nearby who need to get around. We’ve been here for several years and know most of the families on the street. It’s honest work and keeps us busy. We don't have a big fleet, just enough to keep things moving.
