Shivanna Gowda B C operates out of the third floor of the Manjusha building. It's located in the Loyalpa Industrial Estate which stays pretty loud most of the day. You have to walk up the stairs to get to us since we are on the 3rd floor, and by the time you reach the top, you’re usually a bit out of breath. Chamrajpet is an old part of town, so the roads in Barve Nagar are kind of narrow and winding. There are always people moving crates or loading up small vans in the estate. We’ve got a small space here. It’s mostly just filled with files, a few old wooden tables, and the sound of the industrial machinery from the floors below. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we are used to it by now. The windows don’t let in much of a breeze, so it gets quite warm in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there waiting for the generator to kick in. It’s a very practical setup. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy signs. Most people who come here are regulars who have been dealing with us for years. They know the address 13/154 by heart. We usually start early before the sun gets too high. There is a small canteen downstairs where we get our tiffin. It’s just a normal workday for us, dealing with the daily grind in Chamrajpet.
