I run my work from Sowmya Nilaya, which is located at 73/30 in the Shivashankari Layout of Maruthinagar. This is up in Yelahanka New Town, quite a bit away from the main city center. My name is Shivanna C A and I have turned this space into a functional area where I can focus on my tasks. The layout is mostly residential, so it stays relatively quiet during the day compared to the heart of Bangalore. I like the atmosphere here because it allows me to think and work without too many distractions. The house, Sowmya Nilaya, is easy to find once you get into Maruthinagar. I don't have a big sign or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just find me at my table with a cup of tea and a lot of work spread out in front of me. It’s a very personal way of working. I don't follow any corporate rules or have meetings that last for hours. I just get to work and stay until the job is done. Sometimes I have to head out to meet people or pick up supplies, but mostly I am right here. It’s a modest setup, and I prefer it that way. It feels more like a home-based effort than a cold office. I've been in Yelahanka for some time now and I have no plans to move anywhere else. It is just a regular life doing regular work.
