Shivamallappa B is based in Gandhi Nagar on the first floor. We are situated very close to the Tribhuvan Theatre. That theatre is a major landmark, so most people don't have any trouble finding our street. You just have to walk up the stairs to get to our floor. The office is a modest one. We don't have shiny carpets or modern art on the walls. It’s just a place where we sit and get our work done. Gandhi Nagar is always humming with people and traffic, especially being near a theatre. It can be a bit noisy in the afternoons, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the city outside our windows. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. The space is functional and serves us well for our daily routines. We don't really do the corporate thing with receptionists and uniform dress codes. We are just regular people working in a local office. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We keep our hours and handle whatever comes our way. It’s a simple setup that works for us. If you’re in the area and see the theatre, you’re just a few steps away from our door. It’s a very grounded and honest kind of workplace. We just do our thing here every day without much fuss or fanfare.
