Shivakumar G M operates out of a place called Spoorti Nilaya, located at 436 in the Attyr Layout of Yelahanka New Town. It’s a residential-style building, which makes the whole work environment feel very relaxed and grounded. We don’t have a flashy storefront or big posters in the window. From the outside, it looks just like another house in the layout. Inside, we’ve converted the main rooms into our working area. We have our computers set up on sturdy wooden tables, and there are plenty of books and files scattered around the space. Yelahanka New Town is a bit further out from the main city center, so it’s generally quieter here, which we appreciate. The air feels a bit fresher, and there are more trees around the layout than in the heart of the city. We usually start our day by opening up the windows to let the morning breeze in. We don’t have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work on our projects. Most of our neighbors are people who have lived here for decades. Sometimes we stop to chat with them over the gate during a break. It’s a very friendly, local way of doing business. We don’t have a big corporate structure or complicated rules. It’s just us doing our daily tasks in a place that feels comfortable. When the workday is over, we just lock the gate and head home.
