Our place is 38/44 in the Mathikere area. We are inside Gandre Chambers, which sits right near Nava Vishnu Chowk. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always the sound of horns and traffic filtering in. We do advertising work here, which mostly means we are surrounded by samples and prints. The office is a bit cluttered. There are rolls of paper in the corner and some old posters leaning against the walls. We have a couple of computers that stay on all day. It’s not a polished agency with glass walls. It’s more of a workshop feel. My cousin helps out sometimes with the deliveries. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out the noise from the Chowk. The lighting in Gandre Chambers is a little dim in the hallways, but we’ve got bright lights inside so we can see what we’re doing. People stop by to ask about prices or to see if their stuff is ready. We usually tell them to come back after lunch when the heat isn't so bad. The desk is covered in pens, rulers, and sticky notes. It’s a small operation, just us making sure the designs look right before they go out. We’ve been at this location for a few years and the neighbors are all pretty friendly. Sometimes we share a meal in the small break area at the back. It’s just how we do things here.
