My workspace is located at 94/1 Tyagarajanagar, right on D N Lad Marg. It’s a bit of an old building, but it has character. I’ve been working out of this spot for a long time now. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so things stay relatively calm compared to the main city center. I usually get in early before the sun gets too high. My office isn't very large, just enough space for my equipment and a place for people to sit if they come by. There’s a window that looks out onto the street, and I spend a fair bit of time watching the world go by when things are slow. I handle most of the work myself, so if the phone rings, it's me who picks it up. I don't go for any of that modern office style; I prefer things the way they are. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it hasn't really been a priority lately. Most of the people I work with are local, so we just talk plainly and get things sorted. It's a humble way to work, and I like the independence of it. There isn't much to see if you're looking for a show, just a man and his tools or his papers, depending on the day. It’s a familiar routine that suits me fine. There's nothing more to it than just showing up.
