Shell Apparels

We are located in the G.T. Industrial Complex right on Magadi Main Road in Sunkadakatte. Our units are 10/14 through 10/16, so we have a fair amount of space to move around, even though it always feels crowded with boxes. The road outside is never quiet. You can hear the buses and trucks honking all day long, and it gets especially loud during the evening rush. Inside, it is a different kind of busy. We have people cutting fabric, others checking seams, and a few of us managing the paperwork at the small desks near the front. The floors are concrete and have some cracks here and there, but they hold up fine. We don't really have a sign that stands out, so you have to look for the complex entrance. On hot days, the breeze from the open doors helps a bit, but it’s mostly just hard work and sweating. We keep a big water cooler in the corner, and that’s the most popular spot in the building. There isn't anything glamorous about what we do. We just show up, handle the garments, and make sure everything is packed correctly before the trucks arrive. It is a gritty part of town, but the work is steady and we’ve got a good rhythm going here at Shell Apparels on the main road.
