Shashidar Pariathaya K

I’ve been here at the DUV Gujarty Shala Building for quite some time now. It’s right across from the Majestic Theatre on Kempa Gowda Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around here. Most days start with the sound of traffic and people rushing to catch buses. It’s a bit loud, but you get used to it after a year or two. The building itself is an old one, which I like. It has more character than those new glass boxes they keep putting up everywhere. My space isn't very big, but it fits what I need to do. I mostly handle things myself. People stop by when they’re in the neighborhood, sometimes just to ask for directions because the theatre is such a big landmark. I keep the door open usually to let some air in, though the dust from the road can be a pain. There is a small tea stall just down the street where I go every afternoon. I’ve lived in this city my whole life and seen it change so much. Sometimes I miss how it used to be quieter. But being here on Kempa Gowda Road means you’re right in the middle of everything. It’s practical for me since I can walk to most places I need. If you are looking for the place, just look for the old school building. I'm usually around from the morning until it gets dark.
