Sharma Trasnports

Sharma Trasnports is located at D.No. 47/1, 3rd Cross on 4th Main in Bangalore. We’ve been in the transport business here in Karnataka for quite some time. It’s mostly about moving stuff from one point to another without it getting broken or lost. We have a few trucks and a lot of logbooks to keep track of. The yard gets pretty dusty, and there's always the sound of engines idling or someone shouting directions to a driver. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning. It’s just a place where we get the work done and keep the wheels turning. Dealing with the traffic in Bangalore is the hardest part of the job, especially when we’re trying to meet a deadline on the other side of town. We don't use any high-tech tracking gadgets or anything, just mobile phones and knowing which roads are blocked. It’s a tough business and the hours are long, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes a truck breaks down and we have to spend the night fixing it so it's ready for the next morning. We don't do any big advertising; people usually call us because we’ve moved stuff for them before. It’s just us, the road, and the loads we carry. We don't try to be fancy, we just try to be reliable enough that people call us back next time. The guys work hard and we keep the tea pot going all day long.
