Shankar Lingaiah Home Clinic

Shankar Lingaiah Home Clinic is situated at 2017/A in Vijaya Nagar, specifically on 9th Cross, 11th Main Road in the 2nd Block. We are pretty close to Club Road, so it is a well-known neighborhood. Because it is a home clinic, it doesn't feel like a cold hospital. It has more of a residential feel, which is quite nice actually. You walk into a space that used to be part of a house, so the rooms are a bit more comfortable than a standard office. We have tried to keep things simple and clean. There are chairs in the waiting area, and the clinic room has all the necessary medical stuff, but it still feels like it’s part of the community. Vijaya Nagar is a busy area, but our street stays relatively calm compared to the main roads. We see a lot of people from the local crosses and mains who just walk over when they need a check-up. We don't have a receptionist in a uniform or a digital check-in screen. It’s just us. Sometimes the doorbell rings while we are busy, and people just wait a few minutes on the porch or in the front room. It’s an honest, small-scale way to run a clinic, and we think it fits the neighborhood of Vijaya Nagar quite well. Sometimes the plants on the porch need watering, and we do that between seeing people. It is a very normal, local way of doing things. We have an old rug in the hall.
