Shankar Associates

Shankar Associates is located in Basavanagudi, specifically over at Chandroday Society, number 33 on C.S.T. Road. It’s a busy corner of the world. The office is part of the society, so it has a bit of a residential feel to it, which we actually like. It makes the workday feel a bit less stressful. We have a few rooms filled with desks and old filing cabinets. It’s not a high-tech looking place, but everything we need is here. Most days are spent handling the usual business tasks. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the news while we work. The neighborhood is full of life, and you can always hear the sounds of the street from our windows. We don’t really follow a strict corporate dress code or anything like that. We just show up and get through the list of things that need doing. Sometimes clients stop by, and we just pull up an extra chair for them. It’s very informal. We’ve been in this spot for a good long while now. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the regular delivery people. It feels like we are part of the furniture here. We don't bother with fancy slogans. We just try to stay organized and keep the business running smoothly from our little corner of Basavanagudi. It’s a simple life, and we are quite alright with that. Our desks are usually covered in post-it notes and half-empty mugs, but we know where everything is.
