Shakya Technologies

Our team at Shakya Technologies is based out of JP Nagar in Bangalore. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s full of trees and quiet residential lanes, though it is getting busier every day. Our workspace is tucked away and isn't very large. We are mostly focused on software and IT things, which means a lot of sitting and typing for long hours. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea and coffee, and that’s usually where we end up talking about things that aren't related to work. The office atmosphere is very relaxed. We don't have big meetings in glass rooms; we usually just talk across our desks if something needs to be fixed. Bangalore is a big tech hub, but we prefer keeping our operation small and local here in JP Nagar. Sometimes the commute can be a bit of a headache because of the traffic near the main junctions, so we appreciate our quiet corner when we finally get here. We have a few plants on the windowsills that we sometimes forget to water. It’s a typical small tech office where we just focus on the code and the projects we have in front of us. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to do our work properly and go home at the end of the day. The building is simple, and we have been in this same spot for a few years now.
