You can find us at the Chinnappa Building, number 111/5, on the Old Uco Bank Road. Rammurthy Nagar is a busy part of Bangalore, and we’ve been a fixture here for a good long time. It’s a mix here at Shakti. Downstairs and in the main areas, we have the bar side where folks come after work to have a drink and relax. Then we have the family restaurant section because we know people want a place to bring their kids for a meal. It’s not a five-star place with white tablecloths. We keep it honest and simple. The chairs are sturdy, and the fans are always going. Most of our regulars are people from around the neighborhood who don't want to cook at home. We serve a lot of local food that people actually like eating every day. The building is a bit older, which gives it some character, I guess. It can get pretty loud on weekend nights when everyone is out, but that’s just the vibe of a local bar. We don’t go in for fancy lighting or expensive menus. We just make sure there’s enough cold beer and the food is hot. It’s a straightforward business. We know the faces of the people who walk through the door, and they know us.
