Shailinder Softwares is based out of a residential-style building in Janak Puri, specifically C-2D/45C. It’s a bit different from those big tech parks you see in the movies. We’ve set up our office in a way that feels more like a home than a workplace. We have a few computers lined up on long tables and wires running along the floor. It’s not the neatest place, but it works for us. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of typing and the occasional argument over a bit of code that isn't working right. We don't have a HR department or a formal dress code. Usually, someone brings in snacks from the local market, and we all just help ourselves. Janak Puri is a nice area, but parking can be a nightmare if you arrive after ten in the morning. We’ve had to learn how to deal with that. We don't have any flashy slogans or big mission statements on the walls. We just have a bunch of whiteboard sketches and lists of things we need to fix. Sometimes we work late into the night when a project is due, and we end up ordering pizza. It’s a small team, and we all know each other’s families. We aren't trying to be the next big thing; we just want to build software that actually works for our clients. It is simple, quiet, and honest work.
