Serve-Tex Engineers

Serve-Tex Engineers is located at L-273 in the GIDC Estate over in Odhav. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. It’s a noisy part of town, with trucks rumbling by and the sound of metalwork coming from every direction. Our shop is no different. We have machines running most of the day, and there’s always a smell of oil and cut metal in the air. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just a workshop where we get things done. Most of the space is taken up by lathes and heavy equipment. We spend our time working on engineering parts and fixing machinery for other businesses in the area. Our clothes usually have a few grease stains, but that’s just part of the job. We don't go for using big words to describe what we do. We are just engineers who know how to work with our hands. The floor is concrete and often has metal shavings on it, no matter how much we sweep. Odhav is a hardworking neighborhood, and we fit right in. We usually start our day with a quick tea and then get right to the machines. It’s not a lifestyle business; it’s just a place where we do manual engineering work. If someone needs a part fixed or a specific tool made, they come find us here at L-273. It’s a simple, honest way to earn a living without any extra bells or whistles.
