Senior Laboratory Technician

Our work happens at No 75/A on 3rd Main Road in Krisnanandanagar. It is part of the Nandini Layout here in Bangalore-96. The space is set up for technical work and testing. It is a laboratory environment, so things have to stay pretty clean and orderly, which is a constant job in itself. We spend our days looking through equipment and checking samples. It is quiet work for the most part, requiring a lot of focus. We do not have customers walking in off the street all the time; it is more about the specific tasks we have on the bench that day. We have got various machines and tools that we use to get the measurements right. Sometimes a test takes all day, and you just have to wait and watch. We have been here in this neighborhood for a good while. The layout has changed a lot, but our routine stays mostly the same. We start early when it is still a bit cool out. It is a lot of writing down numbers in logs and making sure the instruments are calibrated. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. We just keep the lab running and make sure the data we get is solid before we send it off to whoever needs it. It is just steady, precise work every day.
