Senior Front Office Super.,

I’m the Senior Front Office Supervisor here at the hotel, which is part of RG International on Convent Road in Madikeri. If you know Coorg, you know how rainy and green it gets here. Our hotel is right in the middle of that. My desk is usually covered in check-in forms and keys. It’s not a five-star luxury palace with marble floors everywhere, but it’s clean and the people are friendly. I spend most of my day talking to guests who come from all over to see the hills. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and the computer gets a bit slow, but we manage. My team and I have been working here for a few years now. We know all the best spots for coffee around Convent Road. We aren't trying to be some big corporate chain hotel. It’s more about making sure people have a bed to sleep in and a warm welcome. The building itself is a bit older, and the stairs can be a bit creaky, but that’s just part of the local vibe. We don't have a professional marketing team writing our stuff. I’m just writing this while sitting at the front desk waiting for the next bus of tourists to arrive. It’s a busy life but we enjoy being a part of the Madikeri community. We try to help everyone with their luggage and point them toward the best viewpoints in the hills, even when it’s pouring rain outside and the lobby gets a bit muddy.
