We are tucked away in Madiwala Extension in Bangalore. The address is Flat 13, S.L.V. Nilayam, on 3rd Main and 3rd Cross. Bangalore is famous for its traffic, and our little corner is no different. It can be a real pain to get here during rush hour. Semindia Systems Pvt Ltd is what we call ourselves. We’ve been working out of this unit for a good bit of time. It’s a typical Bangalore apartment setup that we’ve turned into a workspace. There are wires everywhere and a few computers that have seen better days, but they still work. We do a lot of systems work, which means we are often staring at screens until our eyes hurt. It’s not a glamorous tech startup with a foosball table. We just have a small kitchen for tea and a few desks crammed together. The neighborhood is lively, with lots of small shops and people walking around. We usually go out for lunch at one of the local spots nearby. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to build things that work. It’s a lot of trial and error and long hours. Some nights we stay late because something isn't clicking. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. People find us because they need technical help and heard we know our stuff. It’s just how things go here in Madiwala.
