Select Software India is based over at Jeevan Bhima Nagar, Phase 1. Specifically, we’re at Gidc Vatva 2710. It’s a bit of a mix of residential and industrial around here. We’ve got a small office that we’ve been in for years. The paint is peeling a bit in the corner, but the computers are fast enough for what we need. We do a lot of coding and software fixes. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting in front of monitors with headphones on. We don't really have visitors often, so the place is usually a bit cluttered with papers and old manuals. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a HR department. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out over lunch. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do get stressed when a bug won’t go away. We chose this spot because it was affordable and close to where some of us live. The Gidc area is busy, and there’s always something going on outside the window. We don’t really do any big advertising. Word of mouth usually brings in the work we need. We aren't trying to be the next big thing, we just like writing code and making sure the software does what it’s supposed to do for the people using it. It’s honest work. Sometimes we stay until the sun goes down because the code finally started making sense.
