Seair Travels

Seair Travels has been operating out of the Unity Building on Jaya Chamarajendra Road for several years. We are on the first floor, which is convenient because you don't have to wait forever for the elevator if you're in a hurry. Our office is right opposite the old Air India office, so people use that as a landmark all the time. The building itself is quite famous around here, though it's seen a lot of history and looks a bit tired now. Inside, our walls are covered with some old maps and calendars. We have a few desks with computers that are always humming. The phones ring quite a bit, mostly people asking about ticket prices or bus timings. It can get a bit frantic when there's a holiday coming up and everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. The view from the window is just the busy J.C. Road, with all the cars and people pushing carts. It’s a loud, energetic part of the city. We don't have a fancy lounge for people to sit in; they usually just pull up a chair by the desk while we look things up. It’s a straightforward business. We help people get where they need to go, and we've been doing it from this same spot for a long time. People know they can just walk in and we’ll try to figure out their travel plans.
