Seabird Tourists

If you look across from the Corporation Bank near Anand Rao Circle, you will see our place at 224,E/113 on S C Road. It is a very busy part of Basavanagar, especially when the buses are all lined up to head out of the city. We have been running these bus services for a long time, and the office is usually full of people with heavy bags and suitcases. We handle the bookings and make sure the drivers have their lists before they take off for the night. Some of the buses go quite far, so there is always a lot of checking the engines and making sure the seats are clean enough for the next trip. It gets very hectic around seven or eight in the evening when most of the departures happen. We have a small bench for people to sit while they wait for their platform number, but it is usually crowded. The tea stall next door does a lot of business because of our passengers. We do not have a fancy waiting lounge or anything like that, just a counter and some schedules pinned to the wall. Sometimes the traffic at the circle makes the buses late, and we have to explain that to everyone waiting. It is a lot of talking and managing schedules, but we are used to the noise by now. We just try to keep things moving so everyone gets home.
