Scicom (Nokia)

You can find Scicom out near Budigere Cross. We are right opposite the Old Madras Road, which stays pretty busy with trucks and buses passing through. To get to us, look for Sri Kaveri Provisional Store—that’s the landmark everyone uses. N.P. Kushalappa helps us out with the space here in Virgonagar. It’s not your typical high-tech office look, even if the name sounds a bit like that. We are more of a practical setup. The area is still developing, so there’s a lot of dust and construction nearby most days. We spend a lot of time on the computers, dealing with the Nokia side of things. It’s a long way from the middle of Bangalore, but it works for us. The shop downstairs is handy when we need a quick snack or some supplies. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. It’s just a place where we come to do our jobs and then head home. The traffic on Old Madras Road can be a real pain in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap up before it gets too late. It’s a straightforward operation. No one wears suits here. We just wear what's comfortable and get to work. It’s a bit out of the way, but it’s home for us during the day. We aren't into big corporate speeches. We just handle the technical bits and pieces.
